Forests NSW Library Services
Library is located at Research, Technology & Services Division, Cumberland State Forests, West Pennant Hills.
Library Services within Forests NSW is delivered by a highly experienced and qualified library staff.
The library maintains special collection of monographs, journals, annual reports, video's and technical reports,
providing technical support to a range of Forests NSW staff activities. Special subjects include: forest
management both hardwood & softwood, plantation establishment, biodiversity and conservation, environmental issues,
fire management, and private forestry and natural resource management.
Services available to members of the public
Members of the public are welcome to use the library for their research and reference use only. Please note,
however, that licensing arrangements may not allow access to databases and e-journals for which the library pays
a subscription fee.
Photocopying service is available at cost but borrowing is not permitted. Please contact your public,
university or corporate library to arrange an inter-library loan. Fees and conditions may apply at these
libraries.
Students should contact their own school, university, institute or college library in the first instance.
Library visits are available by appointment only at the following times:
