Sustainability reporting
The Forests NSW Seeing report is produced annually to communicate with the community, staff and other stakeholders about our performance across a range of social, environmental, economic and sustainability areas.
The report also provides Forests NSW with the opportunity to consider key indicators of performance and adapt aspects of forest management in response. Annual monitoring and improved data collection for these indicators will continue to provide opportunity to assess levels of achievement in sustainable forest management. Forests NSW will continue to analyse the results to evaluate our progress towards sustainable forest management and our performance as a sustainable business.
