Forests NSW Image Library

More than 20,000 images are available through the Forests NSW Image Library. These cover a diverse range of topics including scenic forest pictures, forest management practices, research, fire, logging, softwood plantations (pine), hardwood plantations (eucalypt), native forests, recreation, wildlife, sawmills, heritage, soil and water, textures, and forest products.

A selection of these images are available by Internet search at our image library section of the website which you are currently looking at. These images are available for purchase, to use in your next advertising campaign, brochure, or school assignment. For general viewing and personal non-commercial use of the GIFs and JPGs on our website, please read our general license agreement. If you are interested using the images for publication in any format, please read the publication license agreement.

Image file dimensions and sizes: jpeg files are approx. 200 x 165 pixels and between 8-20K, and tiff files are approx. 2116 x 1408 pixels and approximately 10MB.
